Rabbits

German Giant rabbits are great pets. They are easily house trained and will sit enjoying Netflix with the family. Living together for 6 months, you can be sure you're able to case for children as well

Ferry, our Donkey

Ferry is 14 years old. A donkey can live to 25- 40 years of age.
Donkeys love willow twigs and they also eat the bark, the traditional source of asprin. He has the same diet as Charlotte.

Peacocks

The male peacock only grows his beautiful tail feathers from 3 years of age.
Twice a year he sheds them. The winter feathers are shorter than the Summer ones, but each year the grow in length. At the age of 25 the tail feather can be 2 meters long! This beautiful your male has turned 6

Cats

There are a lot of cats at the Irene Hoeve. If you don't watch out, you could get found by the one-eyed "Minoes" or the brothers "Clogs" and "Cheese". And if your lucky you can find even more!

Charlotte, our pig

Charlotte is a wonderful pig, she is even trained to do dog tricks. She can do things like give her foot or spin around and she can even give you a kiss. Make sure you do give her a reward after doing a trick, because if not, she wont do anything for 4 weeks.

Chickens

The chickens are a tight group, you almost never see one alone. The chickens eat the pieces of bread and cheese that would normally be thrown away. If you throw the food down and say the magic words three times, all the chickens will be sprinting to you to go and eat the food.
